  Stirred by ideas and development

Grundfos’ new Business Development Manager previously worked for mobile telephone giant Nokia – in his opinion, there are many similarities between pumps and telephones.

At Nokia, Peter Røpke was deeply involved in all stages of product development, from the presentation of the first tender ideas through to analysis activities telling how well the finished product was doing in the market. At the same time, he has taken a physical and mental journey ”I have always been fascinated by converting ideas into action, to see things grow from an idea into something that can be sold and make a difference. It is rewarding and fun to gather a group of people to solve a task and to
motivate them to achieve the best possible result. My work method is through inclusion, and I am rather persistent. It is my job to speed up development and research, and it is my job to remind other people where we are going and why”, says Peter Røpke.
